Nakba Day - May 15th - commemorates the catastrophe ('Nakba') of the Palestinian people being ethnically cleansed, driven by planned massacres, from their homes and till this day denied the right to return to their own properties in their own homeland.

Ghalaya and Muhammad are Palestinian refugees who both witnessed the Nakba as children.
Musheir El Farra is the author of "Gaza: When the Sky Rained White Fire". He is from Gaza, an engineer now based in Sheffield.
