The Eden Springs campaign is gaining support. Activists and concerned members of civil society in Scotland are taking seriously the involvement of this water cooler company in illegal occupation and violations of international law by deciding to have no ties with Eden Springs!
- Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) have cancelled Eden Springs contracts at three of their offices: Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness
- Scottish Trades Union Congress have removed Eden Springs water coolers from their offices
- Edinburgh University students won the debate to cancel Eden Springs at the General Meeting of the Students Association (119 for, 48 against and 18 abstentions)
- Heriot Watt University have decided to terminate their contract with Eden Springs
- Napier University EIS branch passes a motion at their AGM to call for a cancellation of the university’s Eden Springs contract
- Caledonian University Students Parliament vote to cancel Eden Springs contract – with no votes against
- UNISON Scotland have removed Eden Springs from their offices; distributes information about Eden Springs through their water@work campaign and following motion 53 on Palestine passed at UNISON national conference supports the campaign to boycott Eden Springs
- St Andrews University Student Union votes to cancel Eden Springs contract
- Are you a student or member of staff at a university? APUC, the central negotiating body for universities and colleges in Scotland will soon be awarding a lucrative contract to a water cooler supplier – take action now to make sure it will not be Eden Springs!
- Are you a UNISON or other trade union member? Raise a motion at your branch and work with colleagues to get rid of Eden Springs from your workplace!
