UK and Irish citizens have a right to invite and hear from a significant South African political figure Mandla Mandela while South Africa, supported by many other countries, is charging Israel with genocide at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
There is no more important issue in the world today and we deserve to hear an important voice in support of international law and the cruelly violated Palestinian people, especially since the US and London governments actively support Israel during the commission of a genocide.
Although the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) is currently seeking an indictment against Netanyahu, the chief genocidaire remains welcome in Downing Street and Washington.
There is a double irony that during Black History Month we see genocide supporters in politics and the corporate media calling for Mandla Mandela to be banned from the UK, reprising Thatcher and many others' attacks on his grandfather Nelson Mandela, now an international icon, as a 'terrorist'.
Mandla Mandela speeches and writings have broken no laws in his native South Africa. Let Mandela speak to UK and Irish audiences.
