SUMMARY:Resistance in Rural Scotland
DESCRIPTION:Activism looks different in rural areas.\nThere are unique contexts\, challenges and logistics to consider.  \nAre you keen to be involved in campaigning but not sure how to go about it in your local area?\nHave you felt isolated in your support for the rights of Palestinian people?\nAre you part of a group that has stories\, experiences or successes to share?\nWe want to hear about it! \nAs the UK government and Police Scotland increase their suppression of our rights to protest\, we need to be informed and united in our resistance. \n  \n\n  \n  \nArgyll & Bute branch welcome you to the Three Villages Hall in Arrochar\, for an afternoon of talks\, workshops and networking.\nHear from SPSC members who have recently visited occupied Palestine and will share important messages from the people they met there \nJoin a workshop from the Scottish Community and Activists Legal Project to ensure that you Know Your Rights \nLearn about current campaigns that YOU can share in your local community\, or join from home \nNetwork and chat with like minded people \n  \n  \n\n  \nPlease arrive for an 11am start. \nThere is limited car parking at the hall\, with on street or paid car parks nearby. \nWe’ll have a full programme until around 3pm –  a light lunch is included in the registration fee of £6pp. \nThere will be merchandise\, t-shirts\, books on sale on the day and donations to the SPSC No One Left Behind fighting fund are gratefully received. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nPlease buy your ticket here : https://square.link/u/kbiWSSBv \nSpaces are limited so we recommend booking your ticket in advance – before booking your travel or accommodation.\nPlease email argyllandbute@scottishpsc.org.uk with any queries\, accessibility or dietary needs beforehand so we can do our best to accommodate.
