DESCRIPTION:A coalition of far right groups calling themselves The Great British National Strike have organised a “national day of action” – this Saturday 24th May. Gatherings around the UK are trying to build on Starmer’s recent dog whistle racism to cause division in our communities. \nThey seem to think that Scotland is a suitable place to promote their poison\, with 12noon gatherings planned in Glasgow\, Aberdeen\, Dundee\, Edinburgh and Inverness. \nA strong response in all these cities is needed to protect our communities and challenge the active support and cowardly silence that allows the Israeli genocide. \nThis week the UN stated that 14000 Palestinian children could die imminently due to Israel’s ongoing siege on Gaza\, as they continue to withhold baby formula\, food\, medicines\, and other life saving essentials that are prevented from reaching the starving Palestinians of Gaza.\nIsrael’s free reign to commit genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians has for decades been made possible through Islamaphobic propaganda and anti-Palestinian racism\, repeated by UK politicians and mainstream media. \nGather at the Buchanan Steps from 10am on Saturday \n‘Fascists off our Streets!\n‘Stop Arms Sales to Israel’

On Monday\, just two days ago\, “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Gaza’s more than two million people “will be moved” in a new ground offensive that will involve Israeli troops holding on to seized territory\, establishing a “sustained presence” in Gaza.” \n19 months of brutal murder\, 60 days of a complete blockade on every single piece of food and medicine\, and now plans announced for a Nakba of an even greater scale. What word can describe something bigger than a catastrophe? \nAnd all we get from our politicians are platitudes while they give taxpayer money to Iz-reel. DESCRIPTION:Israel has now been given a clear green light by Trump to complete the annihilation of Gaza. Nothing is off-limits. Netanyahu has wilfully wrecked the ceasefire\, bombing and slaughtering thousands more to protect his own political back. The regime is now on its final\, merciless rampage\, its leaders openly calling for the emptying of Gaza\, another genocidal war crime. \nRulings and warnings on the genocide by the ICJ and UN\, alongside all major legal and human rights bodies\, are being treated with utter contempt. The regime is openly murdering any Palestinian in its genocidal way\, as with the horror execution of 15 Red Crescent ambulance crew and first responders. Brazen bombing of hospitals and mass torture of prisoners continues\, in violation of all basic rules of war. International law is being openly trashed. \nWestern protection of the regime’s leaders and their crimes is shamefully ongoing\, with Netanyahu given cover to fly across the EU without his ICC arrest warrant being invoked. Pogroms\, ethnic cleansing and gathering annexation in the West Bank is also being met with cowardly words and handwringing inaction. The regime is acting with total impunity. \nTrump\, Starmer and most EU leaders are not just complicit but party to Gaza’s apocalypse. Swinney and the Scottish Government are also deeply implicated by continuing to fund the arms companies supplying weaponry for the genocide\, and still refusing to even call it a genocide. \nThe squirming silence of our leaders is matched only by the craven exonerations of the BBC and other Western media. The callous executions and calculated massacre of the 15 ambulance crew and first responders was disgracefully headlined by the BBC as “a mistake”.
