DESCRIPTION:Protest Barclay’s complicity and profiting from genocide\n\nBarclays is bankrolling Israel’s genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza. \nA report published in 2024 detailed Barclay’s financial ties to companies producing weapons and military technology used in Israel’s attacks on Palestinians. \nIn addition\, Barclays has an agreement with Israel to act as a ‘primary dealer’ for its government bonds. This means it helps Israel directly to raise money to fund its genocide and apartheid against Palestinians. \nThe Palestinian BDS National Committee is calling on concerned people to boycott all Barclays services as well as for all financial institutions to divest from Barclays until the bank ends its grave complicity in Israel’s attacks on Palestinians\, \nJoin us for our bi-weekly (Wed & Sat) demonstrations at Barclays Bank on Princes Street (next to Apple store).

DESCRIPTION:We will be on Middle Meadow Walk from 12.30 – 2.30 pm on Saturday leafleting\, and speaking to Sainsburys customers\, festival goers and passers by.\nJoin us and help us spread the word about effective and consistent boycotting\, speaking out against the complicity on our Supermarket shelves. \nOrdinary people in Scotland are committed to the cause of justice and freedom for Palestine in their everyday lives\, and more and more are refusing to support Israel’s apartheid economy. \nThe Co-op has agreed to stop sourcing goods from Israel\, the first UK supermarket chain to do so\, this lays down a marker for the other supermarkets\, including Sainsburys. \nWe must increase the pressure – Don’t Buy Into Genocide \n

DESCRIPTION:JOIN US FOR THE NATIONAL DEMONSTRATION on Saturday 16 August\nGather at the McLennan Arch\, Glasgow Green at 12.30\, march to city centre at 13.00.\nMASS BOMBING\, DESTRUCTION\, DISPLACEMENT\, SHOOTING AND STARVATION.\n\nDEMAND MASS SANCTIONS NOW TO STOP THE EXTERMINATION OF GAZA.\n\nThe horror genocide continues. Having mass-bombed the Palestinians and their infrastructure\, we now see the systematic\nstarvation of a desperate\, displaced population.\n\nSkeletal babies are dying in front of the world’s eyes\, deprived of the most basic nutrition.\n\nDoctors and aid workers are collapsing from hunger and exhaustion\, unable to help the injured and save lives.\n\nLike scenes from a ‘hunger games’ movie\, people approaching the regime’s death trap ‘aid’ facilities are being shot as they scramble for a paltry bag of flour.\n\nThe whole dystopian spectacle is being watched by the regime’s Western patrons\, refusing to impose economic sanctions and an arms embargo. Starmer\, Lammy and their cohorts belong in The Hague for their direct part in the apocalypse.\n\nPlease show your concerns by marching with empty pots and ‘aid for Gaza’ bags as symbolic statements on the wilful starvation of the Palestinian people.

DESCRIPTION:Protest Barclay’s complicity and profiting from genocide\n\nBarclays is bankrolling Israel’s genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza. \nA report published in 2024 detailed Barclay’s financial ties to companies producing weapons and military technology used in Israel’s attacks on Palestinians. \nIn addition\, Barclays has an agreement with Israel to act as a ‘primary dealer’ for its government bonds. This means it helps Israel directly to raise money to fund its genocide and apartheid against Palestinians. \nThe Palestinian BDS National Committee is calling on concerned people to boycott all Barclays services as well as for all financial institutions to divest from Barclays until the bank ends its grave complicity in Israel’s attacks on Palestinians\, \nJoin us for our bi-weekly (Wed & Sat) demonstrations at Barclays Bank on Princes Street (next to Apple store).
