The Genocide Convention does not explicitly exclude corporate liability for complicity in genocide. Corporations can be held liable for aiding\, abetting\, or contributing to genocidal acts. Companies have a responsibility to cease any activity or cut financial ties that could contribute directly or indirectly to ongoing crimes committed by the Israeli authorities. \nHelp us build the campaign so that Home Bargains live up to that responsibility and stop stocking Israeli products. DESCRIPTION:Workplace Day of Action for Palestine\nOn Thursday 12 February workers across Scotland are again being called on to take part in a Workplace Day of Action for Palestine. \nFrom local authority pension funds and public contracts to universities\, cultural institutions\, retail\, banking and manufacturing\, Scottish institutions remain entangled in systems that enable Israel’s genocide and apartheid against the Palestinian people. \nThe days of action are about workers organising where we are\, challenging that complicity\, and demanding boycott\, divestment and sanctions (BDS). \nFor your first time taking an action\, we suggest hosting a staff meeting to start conversations about how your workplace is complicit and launch your workplace campaign for Palestine. \nBut\, decide together what action makes sense for your workplace. \nNo action is too small.
