DESCRIPTION:Health Care Workers 4 Palestine Edinburgh are holding a Vigil at the UK Government building in Edinburgh\, to demand the resignation of Wes Streeting.\nWes Streeting is the UK Government Secretary of State for Health and Social Care. \nIn addition to being a long term recipient of funding from the pro-Israel lobby\, he has accepted hundreds of thousands of pounds from private healthcare interests. \nStreeting is threatening the right and moral duty of healthcare workers to speak out against the genocide in Gaza and the illegal occupation of Palestine. \nHealthcare Workers refuse to be silenced and complicit. \nHealthcare Workers demand the independence of our regulatory bodies be protected. \nHealthcare Workers say Hands Off Our NHS. \nJoin HW4P making a stand on Wednesday at 10.00. \nThis event is not organised by SPSC Edinburgh\, but members & supporters may wish to attend and show support.
