DESCRIPTION:This meeting organised by the Antonine Friendship Link will include a report back from the SPSC delegation members who recently returned from Occupied Palestine. \nHear first hand accounts from SPSC members following their recent visit. \nPart of their visit was with partners of the Stop the JNF\, Plant a Tree in Palestine project – one farmer told the delegation about living under occupation and rapidly encroaching settlement building on his village land; he was keen to make us understand that ‘Time is killing us’.

This means it helps Israel directly to raise money to fund its genocide and apartheid against Palestinians. \nThe Palestinian BDS National Committee is calling on concerned people to boycott all Barclays services as well as for all financial institutions to divest from Barclays until the bank ends its grave complicity in Israel’s attacks on Palestinians\, \nJoin us for our weekly demonstration at Barclays Bank on Argyle Street.

DESCRIPTION:To coincide with the Festival and Fringe we will be on Middle Meadow Walk from 12.00 – 2.00 pm on Saturday leafleting\, and speaking to festival goers and passers by.\nThe stall will be set up down from Sainsburys at the Meadows Compass (the intersection of paths on Middle Meadow Walk).\nJoin us and help us spread the word about effective and consistent boycotting\, speaking out against the complicity on our Supermarket shelves. \nOrdinary people in Scotland are committed to the cause of justice and freedom for Palestine in their everyday lives\, and more and more are refusing to support Israel’s apartheid economy. \nThe Co-op has agreed to stop sourcing goods from Israel\, the first UK supermarket chain to do so\, this lays down a marker for the other supermarkets\, including the nearby Sainsburys. \nWe must increase the pressure – Don’t Buy Into Genocide \n
