Land Day Walking Challenge

A5 LAND DAY 1080 x 1350 px1Join the SPSC team to mark this year’s Land Day in solidarity with the people of Palestine. Land Day marks the end of International Israeli Apartheid Week.

In Palestine, Land Day commemorates the end of the tree planting season and commemorates historical and ongoing land expropriation and suppression of Palestinian Resistance. On 30th March 1976, Israeli police killed six Palestinian citizens of Israel as they were protesting Israel’s expropriation of thousands of dunums of Palestinian land in the Galilee. The Israeli occupation continues to escalate in the West Bank and illegal settlements are expanding daily.

We are calling for a Scotland-wide #LandDayChallenge!

A walking challenge to raise funds for the Plant a Tree in Palestine project. There are a range of challenge options to suit.
