The Scottish charity regulator OSCR has been silent on JNF-KKL Scotland’s role in Israel’s ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their land. SPSC has provided information and evidence to OSCR for over 20 years and urged it to revoke this organisation’s charity status; so far, OSCR has refused to take action.
We need YOU to take action:
- Write to OSCR and share the link urging your friends and networks to do the same
- Join the demonstration on Friday 21 August at the OSCR offices in Dundee:
Letter to OSCR, 20 August 2026
Please refer to our complaint dated 6 February 2026 regarding the following organisation, which is currently on the Scottish Charity Register
KKL (Scotland) Charitable Trust, also known as JNF KKL Scotland
Charity Number: SC037850
Company number SC316740
As yet, we have received no reply regarding the status of this complaint.
Given the public interest in this matter in a time of genocide, we would be grateful if you could confirm what steps, if any, your office has taken, or intends to take, in relation to the activities of the above-mentioned charity. The above charity has a direct link to the JNF in Israel, which is well known for funding illegal settlements and the Israeli military and displacing Palestinians from their homes.
Since the date of this complaint, the Charity Regulator for England and Wales opened an enquiry on 5 August into charities working in illegal settlements. In Canada, the Revenue Agency revoked the charity status of JNF Canada because of their ties to Israel’s military. We strongly recommend that OSCR take seriously the concerns we have raised regarding KKL (Scotland)/JNF KKL Scotland, and revoke their charity status with immediate effect.
Scotland must not be complicit in Israel’s gross violations of international and human rights law, including the genocide of the Palestinian people.
