Israeli State-funded Batsheva Dance Company is scheduled to appear for three nights at the Playhouse on Leith Walk during the Edinburgh International Festival – from Thursday 30 August to Saturday 1st September.

They then have an 8-city UK tour later in the year, including the two opening slots in Edinburgh’s Festival Theatre, Nicholson Street (details below).

There can be no ‘business-as-usual’ for Israeli State-funded artists while Israel harasses and closes Palestinian cultural events, as part of the wider programme of dispossession and expulsion of Palestinians to entrench Israeli apartheid in all of Palestine.

Join the campaign to pressure the Edinburgh International Festival to disinvite Batsheva Dance Company and help build the protests for justice and BDS if the events go ahead!
