SPSC Fact-finding Project & Visit to Palestine – 1st-10th June 2015

This trip is an opportunity to visit Palestine to learn more about the reality Palestinians face every day, in order to provide effective solidarity back in Scotland. The project will include collective preparation and research prior to the visit, as well as the production of materials and presentations following the visit.

SPSC has organised a number of delegations to Palestine over the years. These have been highly successful in informing the work that the SPSC does in Scotland and maintaining links with Palestinian civil society organisations and activists. Our aims are to educate ourselves, to investigate the role of corporations and institutions in Israel’s violations of Palestinian rights and to mobilise Scottish public and civil society in support of the Palestinian call for BDS (a campaign of boycott, divestment and sanctions against the state of Israel) upon our return.
