The University has spent over Ā£400\,000\,000 on the Edinburghā€™s Futures Institution and continues to make massive profits year on year. \nThe Universityā€™s senior management has failed in its role of governance\, blatantly sidestepping its own democratic processes. Edinburgh Universityā€™s student\, staff union\, and Senate have all voted for divestment\, and against these cuts.
