DESCRIPTION:Edinburgh International Workers’ Memorial Day Ceremony\nThe commemoration takes place at the Memorial Tree in West Princes Street Gardens on Tue 28 April. \nA wreath will be laid in memory of the thousands of Palestinian workers murdered by Israel \nInternational Workers’ Memorial Day is the day we remember workers from Scotland and across the world who have paid the ultimate price in their workplaces. \nThis may be as a result of health and safety negligence\, or in the case of Palestinian workers\, the deliberate targeting and slaughter of those doing their jobs. \nThe SPSC Trade Union group encourage activists to attend and pay your respects. \nCome along and help us to “Remember the Dead and Fight for the Living” \nThe memorial tree is adjacent to the lower path\, at the Mound end of the Gardens.
