Protest at the Canadian High Commission, 1 Grosvenor Square, London
Reverse the ethnic cleansing - support Palestinian refugee rights!

Sunday June 5th 2011
Times be announced shortly to coincide with Palestinian demonstration, see below.

Each year, on the anniversary of the date they were driven from their home and village, the people of three Palestinian villages ethnically cleansed by the Israeli Army in 1967 march and try to return home. On past form, the Israeli Army will meet these peaceful, unarmed demonstrators with violence - tear gas and rubber bullets, and possibly worse.

Their right of return is enshrined in international law that

  • cannot be negotiated away (Who can negotiate away our human rights?)
  • should be supported by all decent people
  • once violated, will encourage other ethnic cleansers to implement their own vile plans

The land still owned by the people of Imwas, Beit Nuba, and Yalo is still empty of all human habitations. The lands of the three villages is called Canada Park by the Israelis. The Canadian Government endorses this bl;atant violation of human rights, as does the British Government with its financial support to the UK JNF to run the British Park on ethnically cleansed Palestinian land.
