Their trial is currently scheduled for 14th May.

So far they have successfully challenged two restrictive bail conditions preventing them from entering Glasgow city centre and also from being within 50 metres of Barclays Bank on Argyle St. At their pleading diet on 28th January, one of the Argyle St 2 found out that an additional charge of breach of the peace has been added to the obstruction charge she was already facing. ‘Five SPSC members who joined Palestine Action from early morning on 10th December 2024 to blockade Leonardo arms factory in Edinburgh with vehicles for eight hours.
They disrupted the production of laser targeting systems for Israel’s F-35 fighter jets. Leonardo also makes parts for Israel’s Apache helicopters and works in partnership with Israel’s biggest weapons firm – Elbit Systems.

After the five were arrested, Police Scotland, knowing they lived in the Borders, sent them to detention in police cells in the opposite direction, well outside Edinburgh – to Livingston and Dunfermline.

The three detained in the Livingston police cells were finally released after 10pm, on condition that they do not enter the Edinburgh area. Their jackets and coats were confiscated before they were processed out of the building into sub-zero temperatures’. Follow SPSC & Palestine Action for updates.
