Israel has now been given a clear green light by Trump to complete the annihilation of Gaza. Nothing is off-limits. Netanyahu has wilfully wrecked the ceasefire, bombing and slaughtering thousands more to protect his own political back. The regime is now on its final, merciless rampage, its leaders openly calling for the emptying of Gaza, another genocidal war crime.

Rulings and warnings on the genocide by the ICJ and UN, alongside all major legal and human rights bodies, are being treated with utter contempt. The regime is openly murdering any Palestinian in its genocidal way, as with the horror execution of 15 Red Crescent ambulance crew and first responders. Brazen bombing of hospitals and mass torture of prisoners continues, in violation of all basic rules of war. International law is being openly trashed.

Western protection of the regime’s leaders and their crimes is shamefully ongoing, with Netanyahu given cover to fly across the EU without his ICC arrest warrant being invoked. Pogroms, ethnic cleansing and gathering annexation in the West Bank is also being met with cowardly words and handwringing inaction. The regime is acting with total impunity.

Trump, Starmer and most EU leaders are not just complicit but party to Gaza’s apocalypse. Swinney and the Scottish Government are also deeply implicated by continuing to fund the arms companies supplying weaponry for the genocide, and still refusing to even call it a genocide.

The squirming silence of our leaders is matched only by the craven exonerations of the BBC and other Western media. The callous executions and calculated massacre of the 15 ambulance crew and first responders was disgracefully headlined by the BBC as “a mistake”. British state media is an active party to the genocide, mitigating, normalising and hushing Israel’s crimes.
