SPSC Edinburgh: Political Education Discussion Session

Join our meeting for an open discussion on building solidarity with Palestine, in the February session we will consider attitudes to the armed forces and the Police.

Discuss how we can deepen our solidarity with Palestine, whilst exploring the role of UK armed forces and policing as tools of state power, and consider what our attitudes toward them should be. How accurately are armed forces and police typically portrayed and viewed in our society? What role do they play in repression, and control? The session will be participatory and reflective, with differing perspectives encouraged.
