From Palestine to Iraq - the Crime Spreads

The same means that Israel has been using for decades to control and dispossess the Palestinians are now being used by the US and Britain in Iraq. Medieval-type sieges to starve the resistance into submission, snipers against civilians, attacks on ambulances, torture and rape - all have been used against the Palestinians and all are well-documented as being used in Iraq today.

Haifa Zangana is an author and poet. She is an Iraqi Kurd who joined the Palestine Liberation Organisation as a young woman. She was tortured in Abu Ghraib prison under Saddam Hussein.
