London Police chief supports closer link to terrorist state

UK, Israel in anti-terror link-up

THE ever-closer links between Britain and Israel in the fight against terrorism were stressed this week by Metropolitan Police commissioner Sir Ian Blair.

There was a "natural sympathy" between the two countries which had both faced long-term terrorist threats, he told the Jewish Telegraph.

Sir Ian was speaking after a unique reception for the Metropolitan Police, hosted by Israeli ambassador Ron Prosor.
