AIR FORCE CHIEF'S CALM WHILE KILLING FAMILIES
In the first minutes of this day in 2002, the Israeli air force dropped a one-ton bomb on an apartment building in a densely populated Gaza neighbourhood, killing a Hamas leader, and 15 civilians, most of them children. A horrified reporter asked the Israeli Air Force Chief, Dan Halutz, how he felt when he dropped a bomb such as that and he replied: "I will tell you. I feel a slight bump to the plane as a result of the bomb's release. A second later it passes, and that's all. That's what I feel." Israel used cluster bombs freely in Gaza.

الجو الإسرائيلي( دان حالوتس)، كيف يشعر متى أسقط قنبلة من هذا القبيل فأجاب:
"سأخبرك أشعر بارتداد طفيف للطائرة نتيجة إطلاق ألقنبلة. بعد مرور ثانية، هذا كل شيء، هذا ما اشعر به" . استخدمت إسرائيل القنابل العنقودية في غزة دون رادع.
