Born in Khan Younis, in Gaza, Musheir El Farra is author of GAZA - When the Sky Rained White Fire which exposes with integrity and sensitivity the human reality behind the dehumanising statistics of death and destruction. It tells the personal stories of some of the families who were targetted in the Cast Lead massacre of 2009. Musheir was later to lose 11 members of his own family in the 2014 Protective Edge massacre.
