with Doris Ghannam and Dr Shaun Whittaker, 9 August 2020
Doris Ghannam of Berlin BDS and Dr Shaun Whittaker in Windhoek, Namibia, discuss the first genocide of the 20th Century and the light it throws on Europe-Israel relations today. Germany sends massive aid to Israel, supposedly as reparations for the Nazi extermination of European Jews. While Ministers concede that German forces during 1904-8 in then-German South West Africa committed a 'genocide', the German Government refuses to pay any reparations. We discuss why billions go to Israel and nothing for genocide of Africans.
