Urgent Demo – Fascists off our Streets – Glasgow

A coalition of far right groups calling themselves The Great British National Strike have organised a “national day of action” – this Saturday 24th May. Gatherings around the UK are trying to build on Starmer’s recent dog whistle racism to cause division in our communities.

They seem to think that Scotland is a suitable place to promote their poison, with 12noon gatherings planned in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Inverness.

A strong response in all these cities is needed to protect our communities and challenge the active support and cowardly silence that allows the Israeli genocide.

This week the UN stated that 14000 Palestinian children could die imminently due to Israel’s ongoing siege on Gaza, as they continue to withhold baby formula, food, medicines, and other life saving essentials that are prevented from reaching the starving Palestinians of Gaza.
Israel’s free reign to commit genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians has for decades been made possible through Islamaphobic propaganda and anti-Palestinian racism, repeated by UK politicians and mainstream media.
