Workers Memorial Ceremony – Midlothian

Organised by Midlothian TUC with support of Midlothian Council, the International Workers’ Memorial Day commemoration takes place at George V Park, Bonnyrigg.

International Workers’ Memorial Day is the day we remember workers across the world who have paid the ultimate price in their workplaces.

This may be as a result of health and safety negligence, or in the case of Palestinian workers, the deliberate targeting and slaughter of those doing their jobs.

Wreaths will be laid in their memory – and the commemorative address will be given by Charlie Allanson-Oddy of Health Workers for Palestine.

The SPSC Trade Union group encourage activists to attend and pay your respects.
