NOTICE of protests and Nakba commemorations across Scotland

Scotland ProtestsThe apartheid state of Israel has escalated their violence against the Palestinian people - Palestinians are calling on us to protest, to demonstrate our solidarity and to take action. As they continue to resist Israel's ongoing programme of ethnic cleansing, on Saturday Palestinians will also commemorate 73 years since the Nakba - when almost 1 million Palestinians were expelled from their homes, hundreds of villages were destroyed and hundreds massacred by Zionist militias - the catastrophe that led to the founding of the apartheid state of Israel.

We urge you to participate in a protest or commemoration near you, organised by various solidarity and campaign groups - see event page/further info for details.
