Edinburgh PROTEST SAT 7th NOVEMBER

Assemble 1pm at Lawnmarket for march to Bute House

John Swinney and the Scottish Government, under pressure, finally recognised that what Israel is carrying out in Palestine amounts to the crime of genocide. The Scottish Parliament voted to support boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against the state of Israel but has taken no action.

The Scottish Government is obliged by international law to do all it can to hold Israel accountable for their crimes and to stop the ongoing genocide.

Instead of implementing BDS, they short-listed CAF for a ScotRail contract. CAF are deeply complicit in Israel’s theft and colonisation of Palestinian land and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

❗️We must send them a clear message: Do not facilitate genocide – Drop CAF now❗️
