SPSC and the Young Communist League present a talk and discussion on resistance, with Palestinians living in Tulkarem joining by live link.
Israeli aggression and incursion into Tulkarem, West Bank has intensified since 2023, culminating in invasion in 2024. IDF brutality has escalated while the world’s attention has been on Gaza, resulting in a desperate humanitarian situation.
Infrastructure in the camp is insufficient to deal with the crisis. There is no hospital within or near Tulkarem camp. Volunteers, including doctors, nurses and ordinary residents have established make-shift first aid and rehabilitation rooms with the limited resources they can find. Upon attack, the very first thing the IDF does is destroy these makeshift facilities and the supplies they have gathered.
Palestinians in Tulkarem have not taken these attacks lying down. They have actively resisted Israel’s attempts to displace and ethnically cleanse their homeland.
