On this day in Glasgow, we walk in solemn silence for Gaza.

As we approach another milestone year of genocidal slaughter, our thoughts for the dead and suffering are as undiminished as our part in the Palestinian resistance.

As we move in sombre mood through the city, marking the mass burials of those now finally being excavated from the rubble, we condemn the savage regime responsible, and our own criminal leaders who have played a direct part in their murder.

Their genocidal loss must not be in vain. The way to honour their memory will be through our own steadfast commitment to Gaza’s independent resurrection and Palestine’s final day of liberation.

Let our silent procession and Scottish lament be testament and sound to the stolen voices of Gaza’s children, and our quiet determination to continue the collective struggle for Palestinian life, justice and freedom.
