Workers Day School for Palestine, Saturday 11th April, Edinburgh
This day school is for workers and activists who are interested in workplace and union organising for Palestine. The purpose is to:
- develop skills and knowledge to support workplace organising and campaigns
- learn from experienced organisers in different sectors in Scotland and from organisers of successful workplace actions on Palestine in different countries,
- create a forum to share experiences and connect workers from across Scotland who are committed to grassroots, workplace organising on Palestine.
The day school will be a mixture of workshops and training, panels and discussion. This day school does not require any pre-existing experience with union organising, but is most suited to those who can put what they learn into practice, either in a current workplace or as activists involved in a worker-focused campaign.
Attendance at the dayschool is by successful application / invitation.
