Rosebank’s co-owner, Ithaca Energy, is majority-owned by the Delek Group – who profits from illegal settlements in the West Bank and supplies fuel to the Israeli military via subsidiary Delek Israel.
Legal experts are warning that approving Rosebank could put the UK at risk of breaching international humanitarian law.
Ithaca now also wants to open Cambo, the oil field we successfully stopped in 2021.
By fuelling the Israeli military and profiting from Israel’s illegal settlements, Delek is contributing to the ongoing violence, dispossession, and genocide faced by Palestinians.
