Khalida Jarrar is a leading member of the PFLP, deputy at the PLC (Palestinian Legislative Council), heads the PLC’s prisoners’ committee and acts as the Palestinian representative in the Council of Europe, an international organization promoting human rights and democracy around the world.
Khalida, who has spent 34 months of the last four years in Israeli jails, speaks of her imprisonment without trial by the Israeli military courts that control Palestinian lives, Israel's limiting of Red Cross inspections of Israeli prisons so as to facilitate abuse and torture of political prisoners, how Israel refuses family visits, uses collective punishment, denial of water, denial of privacy in showers. She argues the need to fight occupation and oppression from Israel and also aspects of traditional Palestinian society that deny women equal rights. She ends by asking us to "raise our voices" for the freedom of the Palestinians.

Eurig Scandrett is co-author of Environmental Nakba: Environmental injustice and violations of the Israeli occupation of Palestine, a report of the Friends of the Earth International observer mission to the West Bank.
The observer mission witnessed numerous examples of expropriation of land and water resources and heard testimonies of officials, researchers, local people and environmental activists. The participants observed industrial sites with little or no controls on emissions, untreated sewage piped from urban developments onto open land and streams and waste hills from decades of uncontrolled dumping. They heard of the destruction of trees and the polluting of agricultural land and surface water. This report documents some of these observations, and provides some suggestions for collaborative projects in Palestine, either by further researches or solidarity support for the affected communities.

Majed Abusalama is one of three active members of the German BDS movement "The Humboldt Three" on trial in Berlin for disrupting a talk by an Israeli official who was hosted by the German-Israeli Society at Humboldt University in Berlin. Aliza Lavie, a member of Knesset and chairwoman of the Knesset Caucus for the Struggle Against the Delegitimization of the State of Israel was an Israeli government member during the 2014 attack on the besieged Gaza Strip, “Operation Protective Edge,” in which 2,220 Palestinians were killed. We discuss the German contribution to the international campaign to muzzle opponents of Israeli apartheiod and genocidal violence, and the German resistance to this attack on free speech.

Zionist gangs drove Kholoud al Ajarma’s family from the Palestinian village of Ajjur in 1948, and their property, mainly land, was transferred to the control of the Jewish National Fund. Her family own land (they still have the title deeds) that is now under the control of the JNF-UK. Kholoud complained to the Charity Commission that the JNF-UK should not be recognised as a charitable organisation due to its involvement in ethnic cleansing. The Commission rejected her claim.

Richard Falk has dedicated much of his life to the study of the Israel/Palestine conflict. In Palestine's Horizon, he brings his experiences to bear on one of the most controversial issues of our times. After enduring years of violent occupation, the Palestinian movement is exploring different avenues for peace. These include the pursuit of rights under international law through the UN and International Criminal Court, and the new emphasis on global solidarity and non-violent militancy embodied by the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Campaign (BDS). In focusing on these new tactics of resistance, Falk refutes the notion that the Palestinian struggle is a 'lost cause'. He also reflects on the legacy of Edward Said and the importance of his humanist thought in order to present a vision of peace that is mindful of the formidable difficulties of achieving a just solution to the long conflict.
