The great antisemitism fraud spread genuine fear in Jewish communities. Decent Jews up and down the country, trusting the Board of Deputies and other perpetrators of the perverse myth of institutional antisemitism in the Labour party, fell prey to a relentless media/Zionist-lobby/Labour-right campaign to generate a witch-hunt-like hysteria purposed to preclude the possibility of a Corbyn-led socialist election victory.
