WEIRD US THEME PARK FINANCES CRIME IN PALESTINE walk with jesus
On this day in 2001, the Holy Land Experience theme park opened in in Orlando, Florida, where you can pose for a photo walking on water with Jesus. The Holy Land Experience is owned by Trinity Broadcasting Network, who control God TV. This evangelical network partnered with the Jewish National Fund to plant the God TV Forest on Palestinian land. The planting of the forest was part of the ethnic cleansing of local Bedouin to make way for a Jewish-only settlement.

في مثل هذا اليوم من عام 2001 ، افتتحت حديقة "محاكاة” الأرض المقدسة الترفيهية في أورلاندو ، فلوريدا ، حيث يمكن التقاط صورتك مع يسوع وانت تمشي على الماء . إن هذه الحديقة مملوكة لشبكة الثالوث للبث والتي تتحكم في ما يسمى تلفزيون الاله. دخلت هذه الشبكة الإنجيلية في شراكة مع الصندوق القومي اليهودي لزرع غابة "تلفزيون الاله" على الأرض الفلسطينية. كان زرع الغابة جزءًا من التطهير العرقي للبدو الفلسطينيين لإفساح المجال لمستوطنة لليهود فقط.

 

God TV at work in Palestine, Al Araqib Village has been destroyed over 100 times and each time the people have returned to rebuild and live there.

Standing next to the “God-TV Forest” sign, Alec thanked thousands of viewers for making donations to “sow a seed for God”, adding: “I tell you Jesus is coming back soon!”The Jewish National Fund, an international non-profit organisation in charge of forestation and developing Jewish settlements in Israel, received $500,000 from God-TV to plant some of the trees, according to the channel’s filings to US tax authorities last year.A coalition of Jewish and Bedouin human rights groups have denounced the project, accusing God-TV and the JNF of teaming up to force the Bedouin out of the area to make way for Jewish-only communities.

The Holy Land Experience
 “I don’t have time to go to all the shows, but I can’t not go to the one called “The God Bless America Show.” Along with military men, candy stripers, and a dancing bear I still can’t explain, Hot Jesus appears in this show too! Only now he’s playing a towny singing about war being a good thing. At the end of the show, all the military veterans in the audience are asked to rise and be applauded and then the rest of us are encouraged (shamed) into a sing-along of "The Star-Spangled Banner." To cap off this war propaganda machine of a show, an actor in a soldier’s uniform limps out on stage and declares he doesn’t mind being crippled for the rest of his life because losing a leg in war was ’God’s will” for him.”

Footnote: Founder of God TV, Rory Alec, resigned in 2014: "I have had a moral failure this year". Co-founder Wendy Alec said Rory had left her for another woman, and no longer wanted to do God's work. "The devil got in very, very easily...a satanic assault on God TV and Rory and I". When she was in hospital for emergency treatment on the Global Day of Prayer the Christian spritual guide "just flew off to Austria" to his new love interest.
