On January 12th, 2017, Steve Bannon spoke at the annual meeting of the Zionist Organisation of America. Bannon was editor of Breitbart, which he called the “platform of the alt-right”. The label “alt-right” is used by a coalition of white nationalists, white supremacists, anti-Semitic and neo-Nazi organizations. Bannon refused to condemn white supremacists in a rally at Charlottsville who repeatedly chanted “The Jews will not replace us!” The pro-Israel crowd easily forgive any number of anti-Semites if they are pro-Israel.
