ISRAEL ORGANISED "ROBINSON" TOUR OF USA
On this day in 2018, Middle East Forum invited “activist and journalist Tommy Robinson”, a product of the neo-Nazi BNP, on a US speaking tour that would include the US Congress. Gregg Roman (right), who runs operations for the MEF, had been political advisor to Deputy Foreign Minister of Israel, Danny Ayalon, and attended courses in national security studies in Herzliya, Israel. Thanks to this Israeli-endorsed initiative, Robinson was expected to return with $1 million to fund his “journalism”. Robinson was, however, refused a US visa.

Four days later, the Guardian warned:
"Tommy Robinson could make more than £1m from a potential trip to the US next month, making him one of the best funded far-right figures since the second world war, an analysis by anti-fascist campaigners says. The English Defence League founder, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has been invited to give an address in Washington by members of Congress and is waiting to see if US authorities will grant a visa for the event, scheduled for 14 November.
The Middle East Forum (MEF), a US neo-conservative thinktank, and the rightwing David Horowitz Freedom Center invited the 35-year-old, who, despite repeatedly falling foul of the British justice system, has growing support in the US.
By November 13, the right-wing Telegraph reported that
"Daniel Pipes, president of the conservative Philadelphia-based Middle East Forum which invited Robinson to the United States, said the British activist recently applied for a visa at the US Embassy in London but now realizes it "will take a while" for him to be allowed into the country. Robinson had planned to attend an event focusing on Islam which seven conservative Republican members of the US House of Representatives have convened for Wednesday.
Fifty-five British lawmakers from both major political parties recently wrote to US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo requesting that Washington ban Robinson from visiting the United States. They said they were concerned he would use a US visa to launch a fundraising tour in the country."
Middle East Forum is funded by a tech billionaire, Robert Shillman, and is run by Daniel Pipes: "I would like to see an Israeli victory and a Palestinian defeat. The Middle East Forum calls this the Israel Victory…it's war and our side needs to win.”
Gregg Roman served as the political advisor to the Deputy Foreign Minister of Israel, Danny Ayalon, and worked for the Israeli Ministry of Defence. He attended courses in national security studies and political communications at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel, the hub of the Israeli politico-military-intelligence elite."
