PROTEST DRIVES OUT RACIST JEWISH NATIONAL FUND
On 21 June 2011, SPSC carried out its annual all-day protest against the fundraiser at Bonnyton Golf Club for the racist JNF. The police officer in charge initially barred access to protestors to the usual protest point but retreated when some said they would be arrested to test the validity of his decision in court. That day proved to be the last JNF public fundraiser at Bonnyton Golf Club as the repeated protests persuaded some of the players that the racist JNF was not the benign charity they had been misled into supporting.

Every Scottish fundraiser for the racist JNF was protested from 2000 onwards. Video below of the Glasgow Hilton protest in 2008 when Goldie Hawn helped them raise funds for ethnic cleansing in Palestine.
The JNF Scotland raises funds for various activities in Israel/Palestine, including the Gazit Reservoir in the north of Israel which directs water to a local kibbutz and denies water to a nearby Palestinian village. The JNF Scotland funding contribution to Israel's water apartheid is complicity in a crime. This complicity motivated the protests at Bonnyton as part of the international, Palestinian-initiated BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement.
